- Heated in the range at 835-865°C, cooled in oil for d ≤ 40mm and in water for d > 40mm and tempered at 550-650°C
Jominy test at 850 ± 5°C. - Quenched at 835 to 865°C, cooled in oil and tempered at 500 to 600°C.
