- Heated in the range at 885-915°C, cooled in water
Tempered I at 500-600°C
Tempered II at 450-550°C
Jominy test at 900 ± 5°C - Cementation process at 880 to 930°C
Hardening (core) at 870 to 910°C, water quenching
Hardening (surface) at 770 to 810°C, water quenching
Tempering at 150 to 200°C.
Tempering for Jominy test at 880 ± 5°C
