- Cementation process at 875 to 925°C
Hardening (core) at 850 to 880°C, oil quenching
Hardening (surface) at 810 to 840°C, oil quenching
Tempering at 150 to 200°C.
Tempering for Jominy test at 880 ± 5°C - Water quench: 875 +/- 15°C; Temper: 475 +/- 30°C.
