EN 1.5410 Heat Treatments
- (+QT1) Normalizing or austenitizing from 950 to 980ºC and colling in air; tempering from 640 to 660ºC; (+QT2) Normalizing or austenitizing from 950 to 980ºC and colling in liquid; tempering from 640 to 660ºC; (+QT3) Normalizing or austenitizing from 950 to 980ºC and colling in liquid; tempering from 740 to 760ºC and from 600 to 650ºC.
- Quenched and tempered: (+QT1) quenched from 950 to 980°C, cooled in air (for information only) and tempered from 640 to 660°C;<br />(+QT2) quenched from 950 to 980°C, cooled in liquid (for information only) and tempered from 640 to 660°C;<br />(+QT3) quenched from 950 to 980°C, cooled in liquid (for information only) and tempered from 600 to 650°C (referring to impact value at 20°C) or tempered from 740 to 760°C (referring to impact value on -20°C).
