- (+N) Normalizing or austenitizing from 900 to 980ºC and colling in air; (+QT) Normalizing or austenitizing from 900 to 980ºC and colling in air or liquid; tempering from 610 to 660ºC.
- Normalized (+N): 900 to 980°C, cooled in air (for information only); Quenched and tempered (+QT): quenched from 900 to 980°C, cooled in air or liquid (for information only) and tempered from 610 to 660°C.
