DIN 12CrMo9-10 Heat Treatments

  • Heat treatment (V): Hot forming at 1100 - 850°C. In the process, the temperature may drop to 750°C. Hardening at 900 - 960°C. Tempering at 680 - 710°C.
  • Normalizing at 920-980°C; Austenitizing at 920-980°C; Tempering at 650-750°C; Stress-relieving for 1h at 690°C and for 2h at 680°C.
