DIN 1.8965 Heat Treatments

  • Normal annealing at 890 to 920°C and cooling in still air; Stress relieving at 530 to 580°C, (duration holding time after reheating within the specified temperature range. Measure the temperature at the component surface. The maximum heating time of 150 min must not be exceeded. The lower limit of the temperature range is to be applied from a retention time of> 90 min as well as for repeated stress relief annealing at least 30 min and maximum 150 min cooling in static air). At least 30 min and a maximum of 150 min cooling in static air.
