DIN 1.8932 Heat Treatments

  • Normalized: 880-960°C, cooled in air. Limited to teq < 40 mm.
  • Normalizing at 880 - 960°C. Stress relieving shall be performed at 530 - 580°C, with cooling in still air. The holding period shall not exceed 150 minutes. Where the holding period exceeds 90 minutes, the lower limit of the temperature range shall be aimed at.
