DIN 1.7321 Heat Treatments
- Blank hardening (cooling in oil): 910°C; End quench test: quench from 910°C Carburizing: 900-950°C; Core hardening: 890-920°C; Case hardening (cooling in oil): 810-840°C; Tempering: 170-210°C (as a guide, for 1 hour minimum)
- Carburizing at 880 - 980°C. Core-hardening at 860 - 900°C, case hardening at 780 - 820°C, quenching. Tempering at 150 - 200°C.
