WL 1.7214 Heat Treatments
- Air hardened and tempered (.4): Hardening at 850-880°C / air. Tempering at 620-680°C / air.
Oil hardened and tempered (.5): Hardening at 850-880°C / oil. Tempering at 520-580°C / air. - Air hardened and tempered (.9): Hardened from 840 to 870°C, air cooled; tempered from 620 to 680°C, air cooled.
Hardened and tempered (.5): Hardened from 830 to 860°C, oil quenched; tempered from 520 to 580°C, air cooled
Hardened and tempered (.6): Hardened from 830 to 860°C, oil quenched; tempered from 480 to 540°C, air cooled.
