DIN 1.1128 Heat Treatments


  • Hardening from hot forming temperature from 830 to 880°C, holding period at least 15 min., quenching in oil, max. 50°C; Tempering from 550-650°C, holding period at least 30 min. and cooling in air; Stress relieving: 500-600°C, min. distance to the annealing temperature 50°C, holding period of at least 30 min. and cooling in air.
