DIN 1.0426 Heat Treatments
- Hot working: 1100-850°C; Normalizing: 900-930°C; Stress releiving: 600-650°C
- Normalized (+N): 880-920°C, cooled in air.
Normalized and tempered (+NT) or Quenched and tempered (+QT): 880 to 920°C, cooled in air, oil, polymer or water and tempered at 600-640°C, cooled in air or furnace.
