GB 45MnB Heat Treatments
- Hardening: heating at 840°C, cooling in oil; Tempering at 500°C, cooling in water or oil.
- The steel grade with boron should be normalized before quenching at the temperature lower that quenching temperature; Heated at 840°C; oil quenched; Tempered at 500°C water or oil quenched.
