B.S. S 533 Heat Treatments
- Material shall be supplied in one of the following conditions: I) Solutionizing (cooling in air): 1000-1075°C II) The final heat treatment: Precipitation treating (cooling in air): 750°C (2 < t <= 4 hours); Cooling to t = 0°C (holding for t >= 2 hours); Heating (cooling in air): 450°C (t < = 2 hours)
