- Softening (cooling in air):680-700°C (min. 2 hours); The Final Heat treatment shall consist of: Hardening (cooling in oil): 1050°C (min. 30 min); for bar with d <= 25mm (cooling in oil); Tempering (cooling in air): 560-590°C (min. 3 hours)
