B.S. S 150 Heat Treatments
- Material shall be supplied in one of the following conditions: 1) Softening (cooling in air): t >= 690°C (min. 2 hours); 2) FHT - Final Heat treatment: a) Hardening: Pre-heating (equalizing): 650-700°C; Heating (cooling in oil or air): 1150°C; b) Tempering (cooling in air): 650-700°C (min. 2 hours)
