GB 4Cr5MoSiV1 Trattamento Termico
- Preheated at 790 +/- 15°C. Salt bath at 1000°C or furnace atmosphere at 1010 +/- 6°C, 5 - 15 min., oil cooled. Tempered at 550 +/- 6°C, 2h.
- Preliminary Heat Treatment:
Ordinary annealing, isothermal annealing or superfine treatment plus isothermal annealing
Ordinary annealing is to heat the mold to 840-870°C at a speed less than or equal to 220°C/h, and keep it warm for at least 2 hours (the holding time is calculated as 1h for every 25 mm thickness), slowly cool down to 590°C at a speed of 33°C/h, and then furnace cool. The microstructure after annealing is uniform and fine granular carbides distributed on the ferrite matrix, and the hardness after annealing should be less than or equal to 229 HBW
Isothermal annealing can reduce the hardness after annealing. The hardness after annealing is less than or equal to 220 HBW. The process is as follows:
1)The heating temperature is 830-850°C, the holding time is calculated as 1 h per 25 mm thickness, and the slow cooling is at a rate less than or equal to 33°C/h
2) Isothermal at 740-760°C, the holding time is calculated as 1h per 25 mm thickness, slow cooling at a speed less than or equal to 33°C/h
3)The isothermal holding time at 640-660°C is calculated as 1 hour per 25 mm thickness, furnace cooled to 500°C and then air-cooled
Heat treatment:
Steel mold quenching heating should be carried out according to the following requirements:
1)Put the mold into a cold furnace for heating, and control the temperature rise rate of the thermocouple in the core to not exceed 220°C/h
2) Perform the first preheating at 540 -675°C until the temperature difference (Ts - Tc) of the surface and core thermocouples is less than 110°C, then perform the second preheating at 835-855°C until the (Ts - Tc ) is less than 14°C
3) Decide the number of preheating times according to your needs
4) Rapidly heat the mold from the last preheating temperature to the austenitizing temperature (such as 1030°C), keep it until the temperature difference between the surface and core thermocouple (Ts - Tc) is less than 14°C, and then keep it warm for 30 minutes, or Austenitization is achieved at surface thermocouple temperature (Ts)
5) For ordinary vacuum high-pressure gas furnaces, the vacuum pressure of the fire heating should be selected between 0.1-50 Pa; For the vacuum high-pressure gas quenching furnace with convective circulation air plume, the heating and preheating stages of quenching heating are first vacuumized and then filled with nitrogen to a pressure of about 1.3 x 105 Pa, vacuum until the end of the preheating stage, and the vacuum pressure in the austenitizing stage is 0.1-50 Pa
6) The heating temperature of die-casting mold steel and other hot-working molds is generally 1010-1050°C. For molds with high toughness requirements, the lower limit temperature can be selected, and for molds requiring high thermal hardness, the upper limit temperature can be preferred
Cooling:Cooling should be in accordance with the following requirement:
1) Vacuum and high-pressure gas is used to cool the thermocouple temperature (Tc) of the core to below 150°C as quickly as possible. For molds with a thicker thickness and a simpler shape, a higher gas pressure can be selected; For molds with complex shapes that require strict control of distortion, the air pressure can be appropriately reduced
2) According to the temperature measured by the surface thermocouple, the cooling rate from 1030°C to 540°C should be greater than or equal to 28°C/min; for workpieces with a thickness of more than 400 mm, the cooling rate of the surface thermocouple is allowed to be lower than 28°C/min
3) When the temperature difference (Ts-Tc) between the surface thermocouple and the core thermocouple is greater than 90°C, quenching should be used. When the temperature (Tc) measured by the surface thermocouple is cooled to 455-400°C, quenching can be carried out
4) During staged quenching, when the temperature difference (Tc-Ts) between the
