JIS MC-AM100A Heat Treatments


  • T4:

    Solution heat treatment:
    424 ± 6°C for 16-24 h (To prevent coarsening of crystal grains, treatment conditions may be divided into three stages: treatment at 412 ± 6°C for 6 h, then at 352 ± 6°C for 2 h, and at 412 ± 6°C for 10 h)

    T5:

    Age hardening:
    232 ± 6°C for 5 h

    T6:
