PROPRIETARY TIMETAL 407 Heat Treatments
- Solution Heat Treatment: 28-56°C (50-100°F) below beta transus for a minimum of 30 minutes, water quench or slower cool depending on desired properties
Aging Heat Treatment: 482-538°C (900-1000°F) for 8 hours, air cool
Mill Anneal: 704°C (1300°F) for 2 hours, air cool
