SAE Ti-11Sn-5Zr-2Al-1Mo Heat Treatments
- Solution heat treatment for bars, forgings and castings 885-915°C (1625-1675°F) for 20-120 minutes, air cooled
Aging temperature 480-540°C (900-1000°F) for 20-30h (An 8-hour stabilizing treatment at 565 to 595°C (1050 to 1100°F) can be considered an aging treatment.)
Stress relief temperature 480-540°C (900-1000°F) for 120-480 minutes.
Annealing for bars and forgings at 885-915°C (1625-1675°F) for 1-2h; Air cool or faster.
