VdTÜV Unalloyed Zr Heat Treatments
- Soft annealing: 650-750°C. Holding time 3 minutes per mm product thickness, at least 15 minutes, cooling in air, annealing preferably in a vacuum or electric furnace with or without inert gas protection. For gas heated furnace is set to an oxidizing atmosphere.
Stress relieving: 550°C ± 25°C. Holding time 60 min, cool down in still air. Annealing appropriately in a vacuum or electric furnace with or without inert gas protection. - Soft annealing: 650-750°C.
