GB GH4141 Heat Treatments
- Solid solution treated at 1065-1080°C ± 10°C for 4h, oil or air cooled. Aged at 760°C ± 10°C for 16h, air cooled.
- Forgings shall be delivered in one of three states:
State A: Without heat treatment;
State B: Two times solution treated;
State C: Two times solution treated and aged;
First solution treatment at 1080 ± 10°C, rapid cooling;
Second solution treatment at 1120 ± 10°C, air cooling;
Aging at 900 ± 10°C, air cooling
