DTD 731B Heat Treatments
- Forgings shall be heat treated as follows:
- Solution treat by heating at a temperature of 530±5°C for 1 to 24 hours and quenching in boiling water
- Precipitation treat by heating at a temperature of 200±10°C for 20 to 24 hours.
