DTD 5004A Heat Treatments
- The forgings shall be heat treated as follows:
Solution treat by heating at a temperature of 530±5°C for 4 to 20 hours and quenching in water at a temperature not exceeding 70°C.
Precipitation treat by heating at a temperature of 215±5°C for 12 to 20 hours.
