UNI P-AlMg1SiCu Heat Treatments
- R - full annealing: 360-400°C for 4-8 hours of regime with slow cooling in the oven (up to 250°C;
TN - quenching in water (10-30°C) from 530-545°C, after preheating for 0.5-2 hours at regime; natural aging (max. 50°C) for at least 96 hours;
TA16 - quenching in water (10-30°C) from 530-545°C, after preheating for 0.5-2 hours at regime; artificial aging at 155-165°C for 8-12 hours, to be performed no later than 2 hours after the previous one quenching;
TA16 H20 - treatment same as for state TA 16, followed by work hardening H20.
