GB 1J466 Heat Treatments
- Step 1:
Heating temperature: 1200°C;
Holding time: 3h;
Cooling method: Cool at a rate of 100°C/h to 600°C, then cool at a rate of not less than 400°C/h to below 300°C, then remove from furnace.
Step 2:
Temper at 650°C in a transverse magnetic field of 1.6 x 104 A/m
Holding time: 1h;
Cooling method: Cool at a rate of 50 - 100°C/h to below 200°C, then remove from furnace.
