Generic Ti-45Al-5Fe Heat Treatments
- Homogenization annealed (HA) was performed at 1100°C for 3h followed by furnace cooling. Water quenching was performed after annealing at temperatures T = 800 - 1300°C for 1h.
Phase composition depending on the quenching temperature:
800°C, γ + τ2 + α2
900°C, γ + τ2 + α2
1000°C, γ + τ2 + α (α2)
1100°C, γ + τ2 + α + FeTi(Al)
1200°C, γ + τ2 + α + FeTi(Al)
1300°C, γ + τ2 + α (α2) + FeTi(Al)
