Generic Ti-46.5Al-3Nb-2.1Cr-0.2W Heat Treatments
- Processing/Heat treatment 1: Forged + heated at 1340°C for 0.6h, furnace cooled to 900°C.
Microstructure: Lamellar.
Processing/Heat treatment 2: Forged + heated at 1270°C for 2h, furnace cooled to 900°C + held at 900°C for 2h, air cooled.
Microstructure: Duplex.
