- Temper T6
Sand Castings
Solution Heat Treated(1) at 538 ± 6°C (1000 ± 10°F), 12 hours;
Precipitation Heat Treated at 177 ± 6°C (350 ± 10°F), 6 hours.
(1) Quench in water at 65–100°C (150 to 212°F) except as noted.
