SAE Ti-5Al-4V-0.75Mo-0.5Fe Heat Treatments


  • Annealed by heating to a temperature within the range 704 to 788°C (1300 to 1450°F), holding at the selected temperature within ±14°C (±25°F) for a time commensurate with product thickness and the heating equipment and procedure used. After being reheated in air to 718 ± 8°C (1325 ± 15°F), held at heat for 20 ± 2 minutes, cooled at a rate equivalent tom an air cool or slower.
