PROPRIETARY Argentium 935 Silver Heat Treatments


  • Age-hardening: hold at 300°C for 2h. Annealing at 580 - 620°C, 30 min. for sheet t = 5 - 14 mm, 25 min. for sheet t = 1 - 5 mm, 20 min. for sheet t = 0.2 - 1 mm. Quenching: leave to air cool until 550°C, then quench in water. Hardening treatment in static furnace at 300°C for 90 min. in air. (Rapid quenching in water is not necessary.)
