DEFSTAN Alloy 625 Heat Treatments
- solution heat treated at 1150 - 1220°C for 1 h/25 mm section thickness (2 hours minimum) and then air cooled or water quenched. Separately cast test pieces are to be heat treated in the same furnace batch as the castings they represent.
