CSN AlCu4Mg Heat Treatments
- Annealing at 330 to 420°C, 2h to 6h, cool at 40°C to 60°C per hour to a temperature of 160°C to 200°C, then cooling in air; Solution annealing at 495 to 515°C and cooling in water of 20°C to 40°C. After cooling, in water to achieve desired mechanical properties up to 5 days at normal temperature (20°C); Thermoforming at 380 to 450°C;
- Annealing at 350 to 430°C, 2h to 6h then cool at 40°C to 60°C per hour to a temperature of 160°C to 200°C, then cooling in air; Solution annealing at 495 to 515°C and cooling in water of 20°C to 40°C. After cooling water reaches the required mechanical properties up to 5 days at normal temperature (20°C); Thermoforming at 300 to 150°C.
