Heat Treatments
- Solution annealing at 1160 to 1200°C and quenching in water or compressed air (in dependence on the wall thickness).
- Solution annealing: 1150-1200°C, air or water cooling. Cooling to be sufficiently rapid. If heat treatment is carried out in a continuous furnace, the upper part of the range specified is usually preferred or even exceeded.
