DIN 2.4600 Heat Treatments
- Solution treatment at 1050°C to 1080°C, cooling water, compressed air or inert gas. Holding period depending on the wall thickness 1 min to 120 min. For cold-rolled strip / sheet to 4 mm thickness, solution annealing at 1135°C to 1165°C is allowed provided as part of the aptitude compliance with the properties was detected. If for the processor re-heat treatment is carried out, it must be agreed with the manufacturer.
- Solution treatment at 1060°C to 1120°C, cooling water, compressed air or inert gas.
