MIL T-24766 Heat Treatments


  • Annealing shall be by heating to an aim temperature of 705°C (1300°F), holding at temperature for not less than 1 hour. Long term annealing shall not be performed to reduce mechanical properties. Only air cooling shall be permitted following annealing.
