MIL LS141A Heat Treatments
- Stabilization: A typical stabilization treatment consists of heating at 177°C for a period of 2 to 6 hours depending on the thickness after solution treating. Solution treating consists of heating at 288°C, 1 hour per 25.4mm or 1 hour minimum (whichever is greater), followed by an air quench.
