MIL LA141A Heat Treatments
- Typical stabilization treatment consists of heating at 177”C for a period of 2 to 6 hours (depending on the thickness) after solution treating. Solution treating consists of heating at 288°C, 1 hour per 25.4 mm or 1 hour minimum (which ever is greater), followed by an air quench.
