ASTM B 983 N09925 Heat Treatments
- Recommended solution annealing treatment: Batch Anneal 996 - 1024°C (1825 - 1875°F) hold 0.5 - 4h, air cool or faster;
Recommended precipitation hardening treatment: 740 - 9°C (1365 - 15°F) hold 6 - 9h, furnace cool to 621°C (1150°F) for total aging time of 18 minutes, air cool.
