NBR 6005 Heat Treatments
- Recommended homogenization treatment at 575-590 (+/- 10°C), 2h treatment time refers to the time when the core material should remain on the set temperature. This time should be adjusted according to the size and load characteristics to be treated and the homogenizing furnace. In this time, it should be added that the time required for all furnace data points indicating the lower limit of the treatment group (recovery time) for any load mass reaches that temperature. These times are determined based on thermal surveys of equipment and size of specific load. Controlled cooling of 100°C to 500°C per hour.
