Heat Treatments
- The castings and test samples shall be heat treated together as follows: Solution treat at temperature of 510 +/- 5°C for not less than 16h; Quench into water at a temperature of 50°C to 70°C or in a polymer quenchant at a temperature not greater than 30°C; Artificialy age by heating at a temperature of 140 +/- 10°C for not less than 16h; Cooling in the air.
