PROPRIETARY CarTech MP35N Alloy Heat Treatments
- Annealed at 1038/1093°C (1900/2000°F) for one to four hours, followed by air cooling.
Aged in the temperature range of 427/649°C (800/1200°F) for increased strength. The alloy will respond to aging only if first work strengthened. No increase in strength will result from aging annealed material.
For optimum mechanical properties should be aged at 538/593°C (1000/1100°F), for 4 hours, then air cooled.
