SAE 7136 Heat Treatments
- Solution heat treatment: heat to 466 to 477°C (870 to 890°F), hold at heat for a time commensurate with product thickness and rapidly cool in a suitable quenching medium.
- Shall be performed in accordance with the requirements of AMS2772, except as follows:
