ASTM B 472 N08020 Heat Treatments
- Annealing at a temperature of 1700 to 1750°F (927 to 954°C) and quenching in water or rapidly cooling by other means. The specimen shall then be sensitized for 1h at 1250°F (677°C) before being subjected to corrosion testing.
