SAE Hastelloy N Heat Treatments
- Solution heat treated by heating to 1177°C ± 14°C (2150°F ± 25°F), holding at heat for a time commensurate with section thickness but not more than 30 minutes, and cooling at a rate equivalent to an air cool or faster.
- Solution heat treated: 1177 ± 14°C (2150 ± 25°F), holding at heat for a time commensurate with section thickness but not less than 20 minutes, and cooling at a rate equivalent to an air cool or faster.
