SAE Hastelloy C Heat Treatments
- Castings shall be solution heat treated by heating to 2225°F ± 25 (1220°C ± 15), holding at heat for not less than 30 min., and cooling in air.
- Solution heat treated by heating to 2225°F ± 25 (1220°C ± 15), holding at heat for a time commensurate with section thickness, and cooling at a rate equivalent to air cool or faster.
