  • Solution heat treatment should be carried out in the temperature range 1060 to 1080 °C (1940 to 1980 °F). Water quenching or rapid air cooling for thicknesses above 1.5 mm (0.06 in.) is recommended and is essential for maximum corrosion resistance.
