GOST BrB2 Heat Treatments
- Heating to (780±10)°C, holding at temperature for 10-20 minutes, rapid cooling in water. Precipitation hardening (aging) at 315±5°C, holding at this temperature 2-3.5 hours.
- Heating temperature (quenching): (780 ± 10)°C. Holding at this temperature for 10-20 minutes, then rapid cooling in water; Aging (precipitation hardening): 320 ± 10°C for 3 hours.
