SAE Stellite 30 Heat Treatments
- Separately-cast specimens are heated to 816 ± 6°C (1500 ± 10°F), held at heat for not less than 10 minutes before testing.
Hardness of max. 43 HRC is measured after castings are being heated to 802 ± 6°C (1475 ± 10°F), holding at heat for 50 ± 1 hours, and cooling to room temperature.
