UNI P-AlMg1SiCuCr Heat Treatments
- Full Annealing (O) from 380 to 420°C for 1 to 3h to scheme with subsequent slow cooling in the oven (max. 20°C/h up to 20°C).
Solution heat treated and naturally aged (T4, T451) - Hardening in water (=<40°C) from 530 to 545°C after preheating for 0.5 to 2 h to scheme, followed by natural aging (50°C max.), for at least 96h.
Solution heat treated and artificially aged (T6, T62) - Hardening in water (=<40° C) from 530 to 545°C after preheating for 0.5 to 2 has scheme, followed by aging from 155 to 165°C for 18 has arrangements for rolled and drawn products or by 170 to 180°C for 8 to 10h for the extrusions, forgings and printed.
T451 and T651 - Heat treatments equal to T4 and T6, planned for the laminates after receiving the first final quenching and aging a relaxing ironing involving a permanent deformation of 1.5 to 3%.
T4510 and T6510 - Heat treatments equal to T4 and T6, provided for receiving the extruded after hardening and before final aging, a relaxing ironing involving a permanent deformation of from 1 to 3%.
T4511 and T6511 - Heat treatments equal to T4510 and T6510 provided for receiving extruded after ironing modest operations of straightening, for reasons of dimensional tolerances.
T652 - Heat treatment equal to T6 provided for forgings that after quenching and before aging receive a final cold compression for stretching the material comprising a permanent deformation from 1 to 4%.
